Salsa on the Palouse, Inc.
Salsa on the Palouse, Inc. is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 0004943593, created to expand access to meaningful arts learning and creative development. We believe young people thrive when they have opportunities to make, question, collaborate, and be seen for the ideas they bring into the world.
Why this work matters
Creativity helps young people build more than artistic skill
Arts participation can create a practical setting for problem solving, communication, reflection, and teamwork. Our role is to provide reliable structures around that process: skilled facilitators, safe spaces, appropriate materials, clear expectations, and opportunities for participants to share their work with others.

How we work
Rooted in partnership and responsive to local needs
Salsa on the Palouse, Inc. develops programs in conversation with young people, families, educators, artists, and community partners. This helps us understand what opportunities are missing, which barriers are most significant, and how schedules, locations, and program formats can better support consistent participation.
Partnerships may support space, referrals, volunteer engagement, teaching expertise, materials, or pathways into education and employment. We seek relationships with clear roles and shared expectations so that collaboration remains useful, respectful, and accountable.
